Welcome to the Quiet Corner Community Credit Union, Inc.  We are nestled in the Northeast Corner of Connecticut best known as the Quiet Corner.  This area is recognized for its thriving business, antique shops and friendly community atmosphere.  We at Quiet Corner Community Credit Union are proud to offer our services to those in our community.

In order to join the QUIET CORNER COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION, INC., you must live, work or worship in the town of Putnam, Thompson, Grosvenordale, Pomfret or Woodstock. All you need to do is fill out our membership card, member identity form and make a minimum deposit of $5.00. Once you become a member, your immediate family is welcome to join, no matter where they live.

The following services are offered to our members:

AUTOMATED CLEARING HOUSE PARTICIPANT (ACH)-Electronic payments and deposits are accepted.

SHARE CERTIFICATES -We offer certificates from 3 to 12 months. Contact us for current rates.

CHECK CASHING

DIRECT DEPOSIT-Deposit your retirement benefits, social security benefits, paychecks, etc.

DIVIDENDS-Currently we are paying quarterly dividends on regular savings/share accounts, club accounts, individual retirement accounts and certificate of deposit accounts.

INDIVIDUAL RETIREMENT ACCOUNTS (I.R.A.)-A minimum of $10.00 per week is required for payroll deduction.

LOANS-We offer personal, new/used auto, new/used recreation vehicle, new/used motorcycle and share secured loans. Interest rates on loans vary depending on the term of the loan. Tier rates may apply. Contact us for current rates.

LOAN INSURANCE-We offer disability and life insurance on all loans at a low cost.

MONEY ORDERS

PAYROLL DEDUCTION-Savings, club accounts, checking accounts, individual retirement accounts and loan payments can be automatically deducted from your paycheck.

SHARE DRAFT ACCOUNTS (Checking)-There is no service charge if a minimum balance of $100.00 is maintained at all times. Contact us for information.

UNITED STATES SAVINGS BONDS-EE & I bonds are available for purchase.

VACATION & CHRISTMAS CLUB ACCOUNTS-50 week club

WIRE TRANSFERS

QUARTERLY DIVIDEND RATES:     Share accounts .50%     Club accounts .25%     IRA accounts 1.25%     Share certificates 3 mn-1.25% 6 mn-1.50%     12 mn-1.75%     Call for current rates.

Your savings federally insured up to at least $100,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government, by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
